Secret Admirer

Lately, I have been arriving home from work or waking up early in the morning to find flowers scattered around my car, wondering up the stairs, or monkeys placed by more door.

Curiously, the flowers are either my favorite kind or my favorite color. The monkey was pink. This person obviously knows me and i just want to send a quick thank you-

Wish i could guess who you are :-)

{excuse the picture- some of the flowers are getting old- but this has been going on for weeks- who are you :-)}

Its just not my place anymore

Saturday, August 15th, was Layla and Aidan's third birthday party. Cindy and Kendall certainly went all out this year! The backyard was full of decorations, games for adults, and games for the kids. It seemed like the kids were having the time of their lives! While I had fun playing and watching the kids, the realization of people's pettiness and who my real friends really are (or were) came to me.

Although i knew the situation was going to be awkward before going to the party, I never realized how awkward it was. On top of that- it was hurtful sitting by myself for 2 hours with little interaction from people who i thought were my friends. The little interaction didn't bother me too much until I realized i was being completely ignored by some and was being whispered about.

I am glad to know that I don't have to deal with that drama anymore. It is obvious to me who i can count on and can consider my friend and the rest of them - i just don't care! Sometimes the best way to learn a lesson is the hardest way.

Before i end this rant, i would like to express that certain things in a person's life is no body's business but their own. Second, whispering about a person who is less then five feet away and asking "what is she doing here" or "I can't believe she came" is not only rude but also can be heard. Third, the people whispering should probably shut their own mouths and stop trying to create unnecessary drama. Finally, it is good to see who really is an adult, who is a child, who is a petty drama queen, people's maturity level, and the fact that I am actually glad I know who is a true friend.

I am happy to say - that its just not my place anymore - and truthfully i'm glad I was able to see people for who they really are.

My Personality Test

Personality Type Report
Your Personality Preferences
EXTROVERT
You are social and outgoing. You are most comfortable when with other people and experiencing the world first hand. Interaction with others and first hand experiences energize you. It is not unlike you to start conversations with strangers. You have a preference for the outer world: people, activities, and things. Other people provide you with a mirror, sounding board to help you develop ideas and plans. Being alone may sap your energies. Your concept of the world is derived from experiencing it firsthand and then drawing conclusions.
SENSORY
You usually gather information with your senses: what you can see, hear, taste, touch and smell in the physical world. The facts gathered from the sensory data you process are the building blocks of your model of our world. You concentrate your energies on what actually exists and do not ponder what might exist too much. You are usually practical and rely on your common sense to guide you through the world. You see things as they are and have little or no need to search for underlying meanings.
JUDGING
You like decisions to be made as soon as possible. You are not comfortable with loose ends and like to see conflicts resolved as soon as possible. You have a preference for a well-structured, orderly lifestyle with few surprises. It may not be all that important who makes the decisions that gets things done as long things do get done. You take commitments very seriously. While you are not inflexible, you do like to stick to a plan once it is set into motion.
FEELING
You make decisions subjectively based upon your values and what is important to you. How people will be affected by your decisions is important to you. You are likely to make decisions based upon what you feel is acceptable and agreeable rather than what is logical. Your truths are founded in your values and those of the society you live in. It is important to remember that we are discussing how you evaluate data and make decisions, and that you rely on your feelings to do so in no way implies you are overly emotional.

I'm So slacking on posting

So i have been really horrible on posting lately and I will totally try to do better. Here is the update from the last month:

Last weekend I attended a wedding for an old friend in Omaha. The weekend was amazing I am so happy with the person i have become and the decisions i have made. The part of Karma of course was even more amazing to me then anything else. Going back and seeing people that i thought i would never see again was great- even though i didnt talk to them much. I have absolutely nothing in common with most of the people it was nuts to me to realize how much i have changed as a person in a positive way and how many people have not changed. I noticed that people "have what they want" and its funny to me to see that they have know idea that they will be unhappy and disappointed with life. KARMA!!!!!!

Meanwhile- work has been ok. I go to Boise ID on Tuesday August 18th for a meeting with people from HMH... go me!!!

well not much has happened. I look forward to hanging out with people again this weekend since my weeks are usually spent in my apartment with Ms. Sage the attitude queen...well everyone- i have a couple of things to look forward to: my meeting in Boise, the twins turning three ( can you believe it?!?!?!?!?), hopefully a wine night with cindy and kendall and hopefully a pinball night soon with sean

I know i am sooo uneventful...i will try to be more interesting and post more often...i'm so bad
